Lundin Mining Anuncia el cierre de un préstamo a plazo de $350 millones en relación con el ejercicio de la opción de Caserones


VANCOUVER, BC, 2 de agosto de 2024 /CNW/ - (TSX: LUN) (Nasdaq Estocolmo: LUMI) Lundin Mining Corporación ("Lundin Mining” o la “Compañía”) se complace en anunciar el cierre de un aumento en su préstamo a plazo existente (“Préstamo a Plazo”), con vencimiento el 27 de julio de 2027, por un monto principal de $350 millones, en relación con el cierre previamente anunciado de una participación adicional del diecinueve por ciento (19%) en SCM Minera Lumina Copper Chile (“Lumina Copper”). La Compañía ha utilizado el Préstamo a Plazo para refinanciar la disposición de la línea de crédito rotativa existente de $1.75 millones que se utilizó para financiar la contraprestación inicial en efectivo de $350 millones para la adquisición adicional del diecinueve por ciento (19%) del capital emitido y en circulación de Lumina Copper, propietaria de la mina de cobre y molibdeno Caserones en Chile.

El Préstamo a Plazo devenga intereses sobre los fondos dispuestos denominados en dólares estadounidenses a una tasa anual equivalente a la Tasa de Financiamiento a un Día Garantizada a Plazo, más un ajuste del diferencial de crédito y un margen aplicable del 1.60 % al 2.65 %, según el ratio de apalancamiento neto de la Compañía. El Préstamo a Plazo no está garantizado, salvo por un cargo sobre ciertos activos en los Estados Unidos de América, y tiene cláusulas similares a las de la línea de crédito rotativa existente de la Compañía por valor de 1.75 millones de dólares.
